Community Affairs Committee (CAC)

The function of the Community Affairs Committee shall be to enhance communication with and among residents and members of the Association. The Committee will be responsible for publishing happenings, operating the Property Owners Association (POA) website, publishing the newsletter, communicating with UCF and other local communities and maintaining the community bulletin board. In addition, other functions compatible with this description may be assigned from time to time.

  • Chairperson The chairman is responsible for the overall responsibilities of the committee.
  • Newsletter Editor: The newsletter editor is responsible for producing a quarterly newsletter that will be posted on the University Estates website and sent to each homeowner registered on the website. The position includes accumulating articles from homeowners and also writing anything that is pertinent and important to the residents of University Estates. This is an important and vital position as it represents the way the POA communicates with the residents of our community.
  • UCF liaison: The UCF liaison is responsible for communicating with UCF officials and passing information that may be relevant to our community on to the board.
  • Webmaster: The webmaster is responsible for the University Estates website and ensuring all content on the site is kept up-to-date.
  • Social Activities:


Registered users can access private areas of the website. Facebook integration available.
