University Estates maintains a pool and cabana for the enjoyment of the homeowners and their accompanied guests. The area includes a swimming pool, baby pool, lounge chairs, and tables with umbrellas. The cabana includes restrooms and showers.  The area includes a gazebo overlooking the lake.

All homeowners have been issued keys to the cabana and tennis courts. New owners should obtain their key from the previous homeowner. Replacement keys can be obtained from the property manager. There is a fee required to have a duplicate key issued.

Rules covering usage of the University Estates recreational facilities are posted on the association website and at the pool cabana. All users of the recreation facilities, including the pools, play areas, and tennis courts, are encouraged to review the rules.

Of special note are limits on the number of guests (4 per household) that residents  may invite into the facilities at any one time as well as formal procedure for arranging to use the facilities for groups. These rules have been designed to preserve resident access to facilities while attempting to accommodate guests.  If you wish to hold a party at the pool or recreation area (limited to 20 people), an Association reservation MUST be approved by the Board of Directors. Applications may be submitted through the property manager’s office and should be submitted at least 30 days in advance of your function.

Pool facilities are constantly inspected by the Orange County Health Department to ensure the safety and welfare of our residents. Sometimes it becomes necessary to temporarily close the facilities to repair equipment, alter the water quality and remove debris. Please help ensure the continued splendor and beauty of your recreational areas by:

  • Reporting any area(s) of concern to the Property Manager.
  • Adhere to the Pool Rules (No Food or Drinks near the pool).
  • Keep Pets out of the pool area.

Please contact the property manager for further questions.
